Renee Boone owner, voice, piano, Kindermusik educator
Renee has been lucky to have music in her life as long as she can remember; singing in choirs, playing the piano, and marching in the high school band led to a career in music and teaching. Renee graduated from Southern Methodist University with a Bachelor of Music degree in music therapy and a Master of Sacred Music degree. She is a Board Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC) and a licensed Kindermusik educator. Renee has studied voice with master teachers in Dallas, New York, and Paris and has had the honor to sing for audiences across the country. She has taught voice, piano, guitar and musical theatre; worked as a music therapist in private practice; and directed choirs with students of all ages. Most recently Renee served as the Director of Arts Education Programs for the Oklahoma Arts Council. Renee, her husband Mike, and their son Luke are proud to call Oklahoma City home. Renee believes that any person, regardless of age or ability, can have a life full of music. Her private lessons and Kindermusik classes open doors to a lifetime of music making. |
